Description
Carina – the right grain mill for smaller quantities and grain kernels
Before finally choosing your small grain mill we do, however, recommend that you consider whether it will meet your requirements
Ask yourself the following questions:
Which types of grain do you want to process?
Wheat, rye, spelt, oats, barley, millet, brown millet, etc. are all very suitable for milling with Carina – they are all small and fairly soft kernels.
Carina does not like hard kernels such as rice, durum wheat, Einkorn, Kamut, amaranth, etc.
The same applies to large types of grain, such as soybeans, chickpeas, or even corn.
Info for allergy sufferers: Most gluten-free types of grain tend to be rather hard or large and can, therefore, not be satisfactorily milled by this mill.
How much flour do you want to mill in one process?
Carina is right for you, if you do not wish to mill more than 750 g of the above stated suitable grain types in one production process.
Occasional cooling down of the mill and subsequent production of a further amount is of course possible, should, however, be the exception.
You are looking for a mill that you only want to use for „crushing“? Then we can recommend Carina too, since crushing is no problem for a small mill!
The freshly crushed grain for healthy breakfast muesli, for example, is available within seconds.
We recommend the mill Carina if you today already know that there is no case of celiac disease in your family is and that it will no longer occur.
We do, however, not recommend Carina for young married couples, who do not know which situations the future may bring them.
Here the main necessary requirements for using the mill do not know (which cereals can and may be processed for children?) or the necessary amounts required in future.
We, therefore, recommend one of our family mills for young married couples.
If you like the small and charming mill and it satisfies your requirements, Carina is a real gem in your kitchen. You will quickly find a suitable place and enjoy the beautiful, clear design.
However, you will be far more pleased with the results of your baking: Spicy-smelling bread, delicious cakes and fragrant fine bakeries will delight you and your family.
Even the most difficult recipes succeed with the fine, flaky flour produced by the natural stones. Therefore, for us it is not important whether the mill processes 80 or 110 g flour per minute – because speed is not a quality feature of our natural stone grain mills.
The single-handed coarse/fine adjustment is easy to use. Using the adjustment knob you can set any desired degree of fineness ranging from fine flour to coarse grits. The gauge can also be changed during the production process.
The housing made from local oak wood is treated on the outside only with high-quality organic beeswax oil.
