The fact that nutrition is one of the essential things in life and is also an important part of our health cannot be denied. Therefore it is of great importance to eat and drink consciously. For those of you who have perhaps been less involved with the topic of nutrition (and of course for everyone else), this and another blogpost offers tips for a conscious diet. The most important thing in developing your own “nutritional awareness” should be having fun. What you don’t enjoy, what you can’t be motivated for, won’t be realized. Therefore take your time.   • Cook fresh: Knowing what you eat, being able to choose each dish yourself with the ingredients of your choice, that’s what the advantages of cooking fresh are. And if you cook double the amount, you  already have something to eat for the next day and can therefore save a lot of time.
  • Simple recipes: If you decide to cook fresh, start with very simple recipes. Your meals don’t have to have an infinite number of ingredients. Often a few are enough to create a delicious dish.
  • Listen to your body: There are plenty of dietary tips and rules, but in reality our body knows what is good for us. Feelings of hunger, thirst or satiety can be easily “felt” by listening carefully. Also thorough chewing is something that contributes to conscious eating and drinking.
