Salzburger Grain Mill MT 5 With Stainless Steel Thread 001 Over 40 years ago, this grain mill was designed with a steel thread. Now we return to our roots and use a stainless steel thread.

Experience has shown us: The steel thread has proven its worth: Mills that were built 20, 30, 40 years ago are still in full use today.

Any attempt to compromise in favour of price calculation has proved to be wrong.

The Original Salzburger Grain Mill MT 5 with stainless steel thread is the most beautiful and robust mill (with a 360 Watt motor) from the Salzburger Land.

Salzburger Grain Mill MT 5 With Stainless Steel Thread 002Thanks to the high-quality thread, in combination with the large grinding chambermade of solid, local beech wood, it is also possible to grind larger and harder grains. Today, more and more people, especially allergy sufferers, are demanding a wide range of applications. X You are damaging the mill

1 Kamut is extremely hard.

A lot of heat is generated during the grinding process and thus condensate. Therefore, grind kamut only in small quantities (depending on the type of mill). Reach into the flour – if it is too hot, switch off the mill and ventilate the grinding chamber after grinding.
We ask you to point out the use of Kamut when ordering a mill.

2 Corn:

There are many different types of corn. The common edible corn in Austria and Germany is not a problem for the marked mills. But especially in Italy, there are very old, especially old varieties that we know you can’t grind some of them. Unfortunately, we cannot test and list all types of maize.

In general, seeds containing oil cannot be ground, such as:

  • Flaxseed
  • Mustard seeds
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Poppy
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Nuts
  • Almonds

Due to the consistency, you can not grind:

  • Salt
  • sugar
  • Tea
  • Flowers
  • Leaves
  • Buds
  • Grasses
  • Sprouts
  • small woods
  • dried small fruits and berries
  • Chestnuts
  • various cores

It is not recommended grinding coffee.

Colour and smell penetrate the grinding stone, cleaning is very difficult. If only coffee is to be ground, please contact us If only coffee is to be ground, please contact us
