Repair service
We strive to make repairs to current mill models as quickly (within 7 days) and inexpensively as possible.
We will inspect your mill at no inspection cost and tell you if it is still worth repairing. This is the case 99% of the time.
Only in the rarest cases do we advise a new purchase, because good motors last for decades and corundum/ceramic stones are replaced. Natural stones are reground.
After this service, your mill will grind like new again!
Since mainly mills that have already 20 or 30 years of work behind them come to us, we often have to make small wooden parts separately. In this case, there may be slightly longer waiting times – especially before Christmas.
Of course we will inform you about the exact costs before the repair is carried out.
Of course, we will handle warranty cases for you completely free of charge. Please also read our notes under warranty.

Important information about shipping your grain mill
You are welcome to send your mill to us for service and we will take the liberty of providing you with some information here.
Above all, the correct packaging is necessary so that the mill comes to us without transport damage.
Cleaning the mill
Unfortunately, it happens again and again that we receive heavily soiled mills. This is unreasonable for our employees.
Please remove all flour residues from the milling chamber. It is best to use a vacuum cleaner for this purpose.
In case of heavily soiled mills we are forced to charge cleaning costs.
Marking of the mill
To write name and phone number on the bottom of the mill so we can easily assign the mill.
Packaging tips:
Take a sturdy, double-walled cardboard box in which the mill fits in such a way that at least one mill can be placed inside. 10 cm must be left free on all sides.
Take the mill apart and pack the upper and lower parts separately, carefully and sufficiently.
When you put the mill in the box, there must be at least 5 cm of sturdy packing material between the two parts (in addition to the parts’ own packing).
IMPORTANT: The mill must not have any free space and must not be able to move inside, not 1 cm!
Therefore, also make sure that the packaging material is stable, does not compress and thus (by impact, shock, fall, etc.) the mill can shift inside.
The outlet of the mill is best pointed into a corner of the box.
Blankets etc. that you use as packaging material will be returned to you.
Note for the return of the mill:
Should the mill suffer shipping damage during return transport (from us to you), we draw your attention to the fact that we can only reimburse the amount paid by the insurance company of the transport company. In such a case, we will of course refund the previously paid repair costs.
We pack the mill as well as possible to prevent damage and use a special, tested packaging for the return. Unfortunately, this is very expensive and we have to charge the cost price of EUR 25,00. But the use of special packaging is the only way to avoid damage in the best possible way.
