Our mill goes on a journey

Today we would like to tell you the story of our Salzburg grain mill, which goes on a journey with one of our customers.

It is our mill MT 5, which is now sailing the oceans with a special customer on a sailing yacht – or rather a sailing catamaran. A customer who is so special to us because he is enthusiastic about and fully appreciates our mills. We are also very pleased to see his importance of home-made bread and what freshly ground flour made from organic grain means to him.

We have been sent a few photos from the everyday life with the mill on board. On the sailing yacht, the grain is stored in the lowest room in linen bags, which also fits perfectly with the humidity. Our customer reports that he has now arrived at 100% wholemeal flour bread with his baking skills – a “standard bread” that always works and everyone likes it. Also, for pizza doughs, focaccia, yeast bread etc. the self ground wholemeal flour is used on board.
